FormVU Integration Guide for ServiceMinder

This guide will walk you through the steps to connect FormVU to ServiceMinder

FormVU is capable of sending your form data and the form video link to ServiceMinder. This allows you to keep your existing workflows and CRM but allowing you to gain the valuable insights from your customers video form.

Steps:
 

Create the Custom Field

Log into ServiceMinder, click on "Settings" to get to the Control Panel

Research Links Manage links for doing research on a contact. Configure invoice behaviors. API Keys Manage API Keys for integrations. Create offer codes that your customers can use to receive discounts when accepting proposals.

Choose which emails serviceminder sends out and other related options. Automated Text/ Voice Edit the text and voice notification templates that serviceminder sends out. Ad Hoc Print Templates Edit print messages that you create and print them for your customized use. ecoposal Text Manage Terms & Conditions and above-the-fold text. Categories,_lggs and Labels Manage your contact categories, tags and phone number labels. Automated Emails Edit the email messages that serviceminder sends out automatically. Collateral Library. Upload images and documents for use in your proposals and emails. Miscellaneous Templates Client-facing document templates. Reminder Messages View and manage the reminder message queue. Channels Where do your contacts come from? Internet, Print Ads, Direct Mail, etc. Ad Hoc Emails Edit the email templates that you can use to send individual emails to contacts. Print Templates Edit the letters and forms that serviceminder generates. Ad Hoc Forms Ad hoc form templates. Email Queue View your email delivery queue.

Click on "Add..." 

Custom Fields : Page 1 of 1 (1 items) Contacts Add... Name Active?

Type in "Video Link" into Name

This will show a success screen, note that the field is cust_videolink, this is very important as Formvu sends the URL for the video as this custom field

Create the API Key

 

Go back to the Control Panel, click on API Keys

API Keys Manage API Keys for integration Offer Codes Create offer codes that your customers can use to receive discounts when accepting proposals.

Click on "Add..." 

Add a New API Key Application* Merge Duplicates Fields Tips Lead Notification Default Lead Source Referrer Restrictions FormVU @Merge duplicates? @Name • Email @Phone Accept tips via API? @Send lead notication email? • Address @Postal Code —Select one— —campaign/partner— V

Click Save. Copy the API Key 

Create the FormVU integration

 

Login into https://app.formvu.com/sign-in 

Click on the Form which should send its data to ServiceMinder 

Click on the Integrations Tab

Submissions Map View Share Notifications Integrations Edit Form Add a new integration Connect Integration +

Click on "Connection Integration" -> Select "ServiceMinder" 

Paste in your APIKey

Should see this integration created

Test it out 

 

Shoot a video. After it's done processing, the information should be stored as a Contact in ServiceMinder
